National Theatre – The Big Wall

National Theatre – The Big Wall

The Big Wall installation is an interactive touch screen developed in-house at the National Theatre using technologies developed in Accenture’s technology labs. The initial installation focused on the National Theatre “War Horse” production and provides a new, interactive way of experiencing theatre and the processes involved in developing a production.

Tom, one of our team, was responsible for designing and developing the ‘Name Search’ interface and integration enabling people to search the Commonwealth War Graves records for WW1.

We have also completed design and development of an interface to replace the War Horse feature, providing an interactive archive of all of the National Theatre productions since its opening in October 1963. The archive will feature details of over 600 plays and include imagery, posters, video and production notes as well as details of the cast and crew for each production.
